Mojito

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Boardroom Rum
  • 0.75 oz Mint Simple Syrup
  • 0.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 8 Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 2 Quartered Limes
  • Club Soda

Syrup

To make the mint syrup, muddle a handful of mint into sugar and add equal parts water to the mix. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let sit for 1-2 hours or longer to desired flavor. Strain and refrigerate in an air-tight container.

Method

Combine mint, limes, and lime juice in the glass and muddle to release oils from lime skin and mint leaves. Fill with ice and mint simple and rum. Top with club soda and stir.
